🐋 Whale Watching with Maesha – An Unforgettable Ocean Experience

From mid/late February to the end of May, the majestic humpback whales visit the crystal-clear waters of Boa Vista to give birth to their calves and perform their breathtaking mating displays. One of the best places to witness this natural wonder is Chaves Bay, where these gentle giants—up to 18 meters long and 40 tons in weight—gracefully surface and dive before your eyes.

Your Experience on Board Maesha
Step aboard Maesha, our comfortable catamaran led by Captain Marc, who brings over 15 years of ocean experience. This 3–4 hour whale-watching adventure takes you along the west coast of Boa Vista, where you can observe whales and their calves in their natural habitat.

Our catamaran is equipped with onboard restroom facilities, and while it can get a little windy, there’s limited indoor seating for comfort. We recommend bringing warm clothing to fully enjoy the experience without distraction from the ocean breeze.

🌊 Ethical & Respectful Encounters
At Rotcha-Tours, we place the well-being of marine life above all else. Our whale-watching excursions strictly follow national and international guidelines for wildlife observation, ensuring that every encounter is ethical, safe, and respectful for the whales and their calves.
